Taco Bell is giving away free tacos tomorrow at all 63 of its UK restaurants to ‘cheer England fans up’ following their Euro final defeat.

The fast-food chain had originally said it would give away the Tacos if England had won, but following heartbreak for England, they will still honour the agreement to commiserate the loss.

Gareth Southgate’s squad was handed a euros final loss at the hands of Italy after the game finished 1-1 following goals from Luke Shaw and Leonardo Bonucci before heading to extra time.

Neither side could break the deadlock in extra time and so the historic game went to penalties in the Three Lions first final since winning the World Cup in 1966.

Gino Casciani, General Manager for Taco Bell UK & Europe believes England fans should be proud of their team despite their penalty heartbreak against Italy on Sunday.

He said: “We wanted to provide football fans across the UK with something to cheer this week and what better way to do that than with free tacos!

“England fans should be proud of their country and their own support, and we want to thank them the best way we know how.”

The promotion is available while stocks last with no purchase necessary for the Mexican snack which will be available for dine-in or take-out, but not delivery.

You can pick up a crunchy taco from any of its stores nationwide with three located in the BCP area, one on Old Christchurch Road in Bournemouth.

Alongside two in Poole, with one located at Tower Park and the other on the high street in the town.

In addition to giving away thousands of tacos on Tuesday, the chain will be encouraging fans to join in the online conversation on social media with the hashtag #iSeeATaco.
