WIMBORNE Road West in Colehill will be closed overnight each evening from July 12 to the morning of July 16.

This is to allow the re-surfacing of the road to be carried out, following the completion of the first sections of the new Leigh Road/Wimborne Road West cycle and pedestrian improvements.

The overnight closures will be from 8pm in the evening until 6am the following morning. During this time, a diversion route through Colehill will be in place, which will take traffic along Canford Bottom, Middle Hill Road, Wimborne Road and Rowland’s Hill.

At the same time, the two entrances to Stapehill Crescent will also be temporarily closed on different days.

The eastern entrance will be closed on July 13 for 24 hours and the western entrance will be closed the next day, also for 24 hours. This is to allow re-surfacing of the junctions to happen at the same time as the adjacent section of Wimborne Road West.
