A NUMBER of cannabis plants have been found at Burton Common.
Christchurch Police were patrolling with Meyrick Estate management, targeting poaching hotspots when the cultivated plants were discovered.
A Christchurch police spokesman confirmed: "Whilst out patrolling the hotspot areas for poaching with the local Meyrick Estate management, we came across small patches of cultivated cannabis within isolated areas on Burton Common.
"These have been disposed of in a hope to disrupt any further criminal activities."
