CCTV images have been released after money was stolen from a woman who was helped home after falling and hurting her knee in Bournemouth town centre.

The victim, a woman in her 70s from Poole, fell at around 2.20pm on Friday, May 7.

Police say the victim was helped by a woman who she has met before but does not know her name or contact details.

However, after the victim returned to her home address with assistance of the woman, she later realised that money had been stolen.

Officers have released CCTV images of a woman they would like to speak with following the incident.

Police Sergeant Anita Arliss, of Dorset Police, said: “As part of my enquiries I am issuing CCTV images of a woman I would like to speak to and I would urge anyone with information about her identity to please come forward.”
