A JOGGER exposed himself to a teenage girl before performing an indecent act on himself.

Police have launched an investigation over the indecent exposure incident, which took place on Monday morning.

A 14-year-old girl walk walking on Wimborne Road, near to the junction with Saxonhurst Road, at around 7.55am when she was approached by a man who was jogging.

The man exposed himself and performed an indecent act before making off when he was disturbed by passing traffic.

He is described as white with pale skin, six feet tall, aged in his late 50s to early 60s and with ginger and white hair that is bald at the front. He was wearing a white T-shirt, blue shorts and running shoes.

PC Luke Arnold, of Bournemouth police, said: “This was a very distressing incident for the young victim and we are carrying out a full investigation to identify the offender.

“I would appeal to anyone who witnessed any suspicious activity, or a man matching the description given, in the area around the time of the incident to please come forward.

“I am also keen to hear from anyone who was driving in the vicinity and may have captured anything of relevance on dashcam footage.”
