GIVE a warm welcome to Dorset's newest arrivals.

We would like to introduce you to five newborns who came into the world in 2020 and 2021 - with two sharing a birthday!

Four of the five newborns were born in St Mary's Maternity Unit in Poole Hospital, while one was born in Dorchester Hospital.

Alisha Critchell gave birth to Rocco Critchell-Lane on March 17 2021, weighing 8lb 10oz.

She said: "Rocco was born four days early. He is absolutely perfect in every way. Mummy, daddy and big brother Luca are so in love with you Rocco!"

Also born on March 17 2021 was Henry James Mace.

Henry was born in Dorchester Hospital, weighing 8lbs 80zs.

Mum Mariella Mace said: "Henry, our first baby, was a long delivery but the midwives at Dorchester were amazing! I lost a lot of blood and developed sepsis but it was totally worth it in the end."

Alicia Penman welcomed Isla Josephine Penman on March 2, weighing 5lb 11oz.

Isla has been described as Alicia and Dean's "miracle IVF baby, born via c-section."

Say hello to Samar Narlawar who was born on November 9 2020 to mum Priya Chintawar.

On March 3 2021, Harry Charlie Correia was born to Jessica Correia.

Jessica said: "I'm a midwife at Poole and worked through the first and second lockdown and gave birth in the third. The birth itself was super quick and I was looked after by some of my amazing colleagues, including, Natalie, Alison, Emma and Nicky.

"I can't thank my amazing work friends enough for keeping us safe and providing such amazing care."
