A MAN is due to appear in court in connection with an alleged assault at a restaurant in Bournemouth.
It is reported that a man was punched in the head at Renoufs Cheese and Wine Bar in Seabourne Road, Southbourne.
Officers were called to the eatery at 6.49pm on Monday, June 28.
Following a search of the area, a man was arrested.
A Dorset Police spokesperson said a 53-year-old local man has been charged with assault and is due to appear at Poole Magistrates’ Court on Wednesday, July 21, 2021.
