CCTV images have been released by police who are investigating the theft of a motorcycle in Bournemouth.

The victim, a local man in his 20s, parked his motorbike, a black Yamaha YP 125 R X-Max, in the car park on Avenue Road at 9.30am on Sunday, June 20.

When he returned at 11am his motorcycle had been stolen.

Police Community Support Investigator Chris Wilson, of Bournemouth police, said: "From CCTV enquiries we believe the motorbike was stolen between 9.55am and 10am.

"As part of my investigation I am issuing images of the suspect and would urge anyone who recognises him to please come forward.

"I would also be keen to hear from anyone who may have seen a motorbike matching the description given for sale locally in unusual circumstances."
