FOR AT least a month now there have been open manholes and safety barriers blocking the pavement on Grove Road, Parkstone, near the junction with Blackburn Road.
In that time nothing has changed or any work appears to have been done on this site. This waste of public money by a utility company poses a risk of an accident to pedestrians who have to step into the busy Grove Road and into the path of passing traffic.
This footpath is on the daily route to nearby junior schools in Sylvan Road and Livingston Road, Parkstone.
