A DRIVER was reportedly clocked travelling at 77mph in a 40mph was stopped in Bear Cross.
Officers from the Dorset Police No Excuse team stopped the motorist in Ringwood Road last night, Wednesday, June 23.

A spokesperson for the police team said the 20-year-old who had been driving for three years was reported to court for speeding and at nearly double the limit, they could be looking at losing their licence.
The policing team reminded the public of a fatal accident on the same stretch of road nearly 20 years ago.
