A PEDESTRIAN and a cyclist were injured in a hit-and-run crash involving a car.

Dorset Police, who are investigating the incident as a fail-to-stop, have now appealed for anyone with relevant dashcam or CCTV footage to come forward.

The collision was reported at 12.05pm on Saturday, June 12, 2021 at the junction of Beechey Road and Wimborne Road in Bournemouth.

It involved a car, a cyclist and a pedestrian.

The woman, aged in her 30s from Oxfordshire, and the male pedestrian, aged in his 40s, both sustained minor injuries.

Police say the car, believed to be a black Ford Fiesta or Ford Focus manufactured in 2015, failed to stop at the scene and left in the direction of Cavendish Road.

Police Constable Shaun Ferguson, of the traffic unit, said: “I am carrying out a number of enquiries into this collision to identify the vehicle and have already spoken to relevant witnesses.

“I would now like to appeal for anyone who may have captured the incident on dashcam or home CCTV footage to please get in touch.”
