A MAN performed a lewd act in front of two teenage girls at a Bournemouth park.

Dorset Police are investigating the incident, which took place at Redhill Park around 1pm on Sunday, June 13.

Constable David Fraser, of Bournemouth police, said: “This was an unpleasant and frightening incident for the victims and I am carrying out enquiries to identify the man."

The girls were in the park when they noticed a man standing in a wooded area.

They moved away from him, but heard a noise and turned around to see him performing a lewd act.

PC Fraser said: "I am appealing to anyone who was in the area and either witnessed the incident or saw a man matching the description given to please contact Dorset Police.

“I would also urge motorists who were travelling in the area of Redhill Park and may have captured a man matching the description given on dashcam to please come forward.”

The offender is white with a tan, aged in his 40s, between five feet two and five feet seven inches tall and of skinny build.

He was wearing a long-sleeved camouflaged top, trousers, a baseball cap and sunglasses.
