Letter to the Editor: Mayors should use Beryl bikes instead of £90k cars
£90,000 on two cars for mayors. This is exactly the proposed misuse of public funds that most citizens would object to.
This is preposterous when BCP are always quoting lack of funds for such necessities as social care.
However, I would suggest the mayors try out the readily available Beryl bikes and should a chain come off, they have the instant answer around their necks.
This suggestion is no more ludicrous than the proposed spend on ferrying the mayors around.
