FIREFIGHTERS were called to a property in Boscombe after receiving reports of a flames seen coming from the roof of a block of flats.
Six fire crews, including an aerial ladder platform, from across the conurbation attended the fire, which broke out of a four-storey property in Knyveton Road in Bournemouth just after noon on June 10.
Crew memewbrs used a main jet and hose reel jet to put out the blaze.
A spokesman from Dorset & Wiltshire Fire and Rescue Service said: “Six fire crews attended a fire involving the roof of a four-storey property in Knyveton Road in Bournemouth just after midday.
“An aerial ladder platform was used to assist with firefighting and a main jet and hose reel jet were used to extinguish the fire.”
Police assisted fire crews with traffic management
A police spokesman said: "PCSOs from Boscombe Police assisted Dorset and Wiltshire Fire and Rescue Service with traffic management at a hotel on Knyventon Road.
"Fire and Rescue were able to extinguish the fire quickly and safely with no casualties. Great work guys."
