A WOMAN is to be sentenced after getting behind the wheel two times over the legal limit while driving on a road near a school, a court heard.
Abbi Faye Marshall, aged 31, from New Street, Wareham, admitted to driving her silver Volkswagen Polo whilst over the alcohol limit in Queens Park South Drive, Bournemouth, which runs next to Park School, at around 2am on May 20.
Poole Magistrates Court heard how Marshall had a breath level of 80 microgrammes (mcg) of alcohol per 100 millilitres of breath. The legal limit in England is 35 mcg.
Marshall pleaded guilty to the driving offence at the first opportunity.
The case has been adjourned until her next court appearance where it will be considered if there are special reasons for not ordering an endorsement or disqualifying Marshall from driving.
She was given unconditional bail and will next appear at Poole Magistrates Court on July 16.
