PLANS have been submitted to add MOT test services to an existing car maintenance garage.
Tyreland at Priory Industrial Estate in Airspeed Road, Christchurch, which is part of Micheldever Tyre Services Ltd, is seeking planning permission from BCP Council.
An application submitted to the local authority’s planning department says the use for the unit already permits the fitting of tyres, exhausts, batteries and wheels.
The applicant wants to maintain the ability to provide these services, while adding the facility of an MOT testing station.
There would be an additional member of staff employed by the business, should the proposal get the green light.
Residents have until June 23 to submit their comments to council planners before a decision is made.
