BENEDICT ALEX KINNIER ANDREWS, aged 46 and of Cavendish Place, Bournemouth, admits pursuing a course of conduct which amount to the harassment of a man in Christchurch between March 2, 2020, and July 9, 2020, and which he knew or ought to have known amounted to the harassment of him in that he made calls to his phone, sent texts and attended his home address on three occasions. Also admits stealing various food items to the value of £23.71 belonging to Spar Christchurch in Saulfland Place, Christchurch, on May 6, 2020. Committed to detention for 10 weeks concurrent, suspended for six months. To pay £67.75 compensation. EAST DORSET

GARY AVERY-CARTER, aged 32 and of Seafox Place, Merley, found guilty assaulting a person by beating them in Poole on September 11, 2019. Community order made, whereby the defendant must comply with a five-week overnight curfew and carry out 120 hours of unpaid work. To pay £350 compensation and £620 costs. Also found guilty of damaging an iPhone to the value of £150 in Poole on September 11, 2019. Community order made. Also admits commission of a further offence while subject to a conditional discharge order imposed on November 7, 2017, for an offence of assault by beating. No action taken on breach. Update: following an appeal, Mr Avery-Carter had his convictions for assault and criminal damage overturned and he was found not guilty.

POOLE

CARRIE LOUISE COOPER, aged 38 and of Taverner Close, Poole, admits driving a Peugeot 207 in Dean Park Crescent, Bournemouth, on May 8 with 81 micrograms of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath. Fined £120. To pay £85 surcharge and £34 costs. Disqualified from holding or obtaining a driving licence for 17 months.

JASON MARK WILLMOTT, aged 45 and of Yeatminster Road, Poole, admits having 1.72 grams of cannabis in Poole on August 28, 2020. Fined £100. To pay £34 surcharge and £40 costs. Drugs to be forfeited and destroyed.
