DORSET’S iced coffee brand Jimmy’s is inviting people to ride through to its HQ this Saturday to help themselves to a “Bottlecan” of its drinks.
The family-owned Christchurch business recently introduced the Bottlecan as a way to remove single use plastic from its range.
Anyone who rides to Jimmy’s HQ on Beaver Industrial Estate, Airfield Road, on a bike, scooter, skates or anything they can get their hands on, on Saturday, May 29, from 10am-1pm on will be able to pick up a BottleCan and other goodies.
Jimmy’s has previously been sold in tetra pack cartons which are recyclable, but come with a plastic cap. The company decided to put its original and mocha flavours into 275ml BottleCans
Co-founder Jim Cregan said: “We’ve now moved our entire range into aluminium packaging which recycles forever and boy are we stoked about it. Being environmentally conscious on-the-go can be tough and we want to make it easy, whilst also giving folks a neat coffee fix with epic taste. The BottleCans keep it cooler and it’s better for the planet.”
Jimmy’s has also teamed up with Beryl Bikes for Saturday’s event, offering riders 15 per cent off a 100-minute bundle, using the code JICBERYL15.
Details of the event are at jimmysicedcoffee.com/ridethru
