A LAW firm has confirmed it will be remaining at its existing Poole offices until at least next year following the announcement of major redevelopment plans for the site.

As reported, a planning application has been submitted to demolish the existing building at the corner of Parkstone Road and Longfleet Road.

The proposal from Fortitudo Ltd would see a block of 122 flats built in its place.

The developer announced that it had acquired the site, which includes the existing building that is currently home to Trethowans LLP.

In a statement to the Daily Echo, Trethowans managing partner Mike Watson said: “Trethowans remains fully committed to the Poole area and we will be moving to new, modern and stylish offices befitting our clients and employees. We are likely to remain in our existing Parkstone Road premises until at least the early part of 2022.

“At Trethowans we always strive to maintain the best customer service and so there will be no disruption in our commitment to our clients and the services we offer during this time.”
