Letter to the Editor: A message to those who care about protecting our green belt
DISAPPOINTING to see Liberal Democrats agreeing with Conservatives that green belt development is ‘the only way forward’ (Echo, May 18).
Why would Lib Dems regard the Conservative government’s unrealistic housing targets as sacrosanct?
Those who care about protecting the green belt should think twice before electing a Conservative or Liberal Democrat councillor in two years time.
Hopefully other candidates will step up to offer true democratic choice.
