RESTAURANTS, bars and pubs will reopen their doors for indoor service from Monday – and it couldn’t come soon enough.

In recent weeks the weather hasn’t been particularly kind to those of us who have braved the elements to catch up with our friends and loved ones over a pint.

Drinkers have had to go prepared with waterproofs, umbrellas and blankets as rain, hail and cool temperatures have become something of a regular occurrence in May.

Speaking earlier this week, Bournemouth-based forecaster Dorset Sun said: “The earliest we could see anything even remotely nice is after 21st May, but even that isn’t nailed on.”

Fortunately, this weekend is the last time we’ll have to battle whatever the weather throws at us before we can enjoy the warmth and comfort of indoor service.

If you’ve got outdoor plans this weekend whether it be a walk, barbecue or trip to the pub, here’s what to expect.
