SAY hello to Dorset's latest new arrivals bringing joy to proud new parents and excited siblings amid the coronavirus pandemic.

We would like to introduce you to five adorable newborns who arrived into the world in unprecedented circumstances.

Following a spinal injection and emergency forceps, Chantelle Pearson gave birth to Darcie-Mae Albin on April 26, weighing eight pounds and seven ounces.

Maeve Reagan Melissa Hood was welcomed into the world in Poole Hospital's Maternity Unit on March 8.

Mum Sophie Squibb said: "After having a very intense labour, little monkey here decided she didn’t want to come out and also wanted to be back to back. She refused to turn when they tried and I ended up having a c-section.

"I wouldn’t change my experience at all and I would do it all over again just to see her face! I’m still in shock that I grew this little human for nine months."

Arthur Loder was born to Lucy Phillips on April 27 in Poole.

Despite being four weeks premature, Arthur is "doing really well" and is the new little brother for Shianne, Freddie, Alex and Antony.

Lucy said: "He is just perfect in every way we couldn't imagine our life without him in it. We are all enjoying getting to know our new arrival."

Kerry Jones gave birth to Ronnie Carter on April 6, weighing seven pounds and nine ounces.

Finally, Karolina Krapavickiene welcomed Matas Krapavickas on April 24.
