A BOURNEMOUTH man has been handed a suspended sentence for assaulting a woman on a bridge in central London. Jason Teelin, 29, was accused of assaulting the woman at Waterloo Bridge on April 27.
Appearing before Croydon Magistrates' Court the following day, Teelin pleaded guilty to the single charge.
The defendant, whose address was given as Upper Terrace, Bournemouth, was committed to prison for eight weeks, suspended for 12 months.
The bench also ordered him to pay £100 compensation, £128 surcharge and £85 costs.
