TRAVELLERS were moved on from a Sandbanks car park and a clean-up operation launched by BCP Council.
The group is now believed to have left the area.
A spokesman for BCP Council said: "We were made aware of an unauthorised encampment at Sandbanks over the Bank Holiday weekend.

"We liaised with Dorset Police and on Monday, the police issued a Section 61 notice requiring the group to leave the car park, with the group moving out in the afternoon.
"Our seafront staff commenced a clean-up of the car park with the site fully open now."
