A BOURNEMOUTH road is set to close for more than a month while the council carries out drainage connection works.
Stafford Road will close on May 17 to all vehicles and a diversion will be in place.
A public notice from BCP Council said: “Stafford Road, closed to all vehicles and no parking, no waiting at any time and no loading/unloading at any time, from its junction with Madeira Road to its junction with Old Christchurch Road.”
It said Lorne Park Road would also be closed at its junction with Stafford Road.
The closure will allow Woodmace to carry out drainage connection works and will be in place until June 28.
A diversion will be signposted via Madeira Road, Lansdowne Road and Old Christchurch Road.”
The notice said: “These arrangements may be amended/extended should works overrun or weather conditions delay operations.
“Restrictions may be in effect under this order for up to 18 months and could be further extended with approval of the secretary of state.”
