THERE’S a bank holiday weekend just around the corner but will it be dry or wet?

There won’t be the wall-to-wall sunshine we enjoyed last week but there will be sunny spells at times on Saturday and Sunday although it will feel cooler.

Bournemouth based forecaster Bournemouth & Poole Weather said: “Currently the bank holiday weekend looks like being unsettled and cool.

“Saturday and Sunday look similar currently with drier mornings but shower activity pepping up in the afternoon, it'll feel cool as well especially in the evenings.

“For the bank holiday itself it’s not looking ideal, potentially a fairly deep area of low pressure affecting the UK, timing of rain etc not certain yet but windy and cool again with rain looking likely at some stage.”

If you're planning a barbecue, some gardening or a walk, here’s what the Met Office is currently predicting for this weekend although obviously it will be subject to change.
