A MAN who bought a car for his daughter's birthday was caught driving it although he's never had a licence.
Officers from the Dorset Police No Excuse team stopped the Citroen driver during patrols in Poole yesterday.
He told police he was dropping it off to his daughter's house but the car was seized and the man reported to court.
During the same patrol officers came across a Isuzu Trooper towing a jet ski with no number plate on his trailer and no tax since June 2020.
The vehicle was seized and a fixed penalty was issued. Offences were also reported to the DVLA.
