BOURNEMOUTH

WAYNE SAMUEL BARTON, aged 39 and of Walworth Road, London, admits driving a Mercedes C220 AMG in Holdenhurst Road, Bournemouth, on December 1, 2019, with 3.7 micrograms of THC per litre of blood. Discharged absolutely. No obligatory driving disqualification due to special reasons, namely the defendant imbibed cannabis cakes having attended a small gathering, he only discovered the cakes had cannabis after he returned to the address having been told not to drive home to London by the police. The court believes the defendant did not know there was cannabis in the cakes. To pay £85 costs.

CRAIG STEVEN MORRIS, aged 38 and of Gerald Road, Charminster, admits failing to comply with the supervision requirements imposed following release from a period of imprisonment in that he failed to receive visits from his supervisor on March 31 and failed to reside permanently at an address approved by his supervisor and obtain the prior permission of the supervisor for an overnight stay at a different address on March 20, March 21 and March 29. Fined £50. To pay £60 costs.

CALLUM LEIGH SHUREY, aged 30 and of Northbourne Avenue, Bournemouth, admits damaging a BMW belonging to a woman in Bournemouth on February 15. Restraining order made, which lasts until April 25, 2022. To pay £650 compensation. Also admits damaging a CCTV camera belonging to a man in Bournemouth on February 15. To pay £170 compensation and £85 costs.

ADAM JOHN LINDSAY, aged 32 and of Alma Road, Bournemouth, admits assaulting a man by beating him in Bournemouth on June 20, 2020. Community order made, whereby the defendant must complete up to 30 days rehabilitation activity requirement. Restraining order made, which lasts until April 25, 2023. Also admits pursuing a course of conduct which amounted to the harassment of a woman between August 5, 2020, and September 7, 2020, and which he knew or ought to have known amounted to the harassment of her in that he sent messages over social media to her. Community order made. Fined £150. To pay £95 surcharge and £85 costs. Also admits sending social media messages to a woman between August 5, 2020, and September 7, 2020, in breach of a court order. Community order made.

NICHOLA JANE LOWRY, aged 49 and of Cranleigh Road, Bournemouth, admits assaulting PC Hoslett, an emergency worker acting in the exercise of her functions as such a worker, by beating her at Bournemouth Police Station on July 17, 2020. Fined £40. To pay £50 compensation and £34 surcharge.

JAMIE MATTHEW BOWER, aged 32 and of Beaufoys Avenue, Ferndown, admits assaulting a woman by beating her on July 24. Fined £415. To pay £42 surcharge and £175 costs.

SARA JENKINS, aged 68 and of Penn Hill, Bedchester, admits driving a Volkswagen Golf in Penn Hill, Bedchester, on March 29 with 70 micrograms of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath. Fined £150. To pay £34 surcharge and £85 costs. Disqualified from holding or obtaining a driving licence for 16 months.
