Letter to the editor: Let them have their league
SHOULD the footballing big six wish to join the new breakaway European Super League then, fine.
Under the proviso, though, that they relinquish their place in English football.
Let them join forces with their rich continental cousins and compete against each other ad infinitum.
And let’s see how many supporters turn up on a regular basis, week in, week out, home and away, and pay inflated prices to watch repetition.
