OVER the past week the Daily Echo has reported on a number of serious criminal cases from the courts.

This includes a guilty plea to murder, a robber and drug dealer being locked up and a dangerous driver who was called an "absolute maniac" by a judge avoiding an immediate prison term.

Criminal cases are continuing to be dealt with on a daily basis in our local courts at Poole Magistrates' Court and Bournemouth Crown Court, while people from the region have also been appearing in the dock in other parts of the country.

For a summary of what has been reported on over the past few days in print and online, listen to the audio round-up below.
