A CAR got stuck on top of a central reservation barrier after a crash on the busy A31.
Long tailbacks were reported following the collision near St Leonards Hospital on Saturday afternoon.
Police, fire and ambulance crews were called to the scene just before 4pm.
Two fire crews from Ferndown and Ringwood attended.
A spokeswoman for Dorset and Wiltshire Fire and Rescue said no one was trapped but there were "walking wounded" at the scene.
The casualties were left in the hands of police and ambulance crews and the vehicles were recovered.
A spokesman for Dorset Police said the collision involved a Nissan Juke and a Volkswagen Eos.
One lane was closed while emergency services were on the scene and minor injuries were reported.
