A MAN was knocked unconscious in a fight in a Poole pub beer garden.
Police, ambulance and St John's Ambulance crews were alerted during patrols last night.
The man was taken to hospital for treatment to injuries that are not believed to be serious.
A spokesman for Poole police said: "Poole Neihgbourhood Policing Team focussed some resources on town centre foot patrols to ensure all was well with the public enjoying time in pub beer gardens. We expected it to be a busy one.

"There was only one incident of note at a pub in Poole town centre - a report of a male knocked unconscious. Police were on scene swiftly along with our partners from St John's Ambulance and SWAST.
"The victim went to hospital to receive treatment. Police will progress enquiries on Saturday."
