SAY hello to these adorable babies bringing joy to proud new parents and excited siblings during the coronavirus pandemic.

We would like to introduce you to these 12 cute newborns, who came into the world in very unprecedented circumstances.

All were born in Poole apart from one at Salisbury Hospital.

Baby Amelia-Mae Armstrong proved an extra-special gift for her mum Nikki Bates as she arrived on her birthday, 27.11.2020 at Poole maternity.

The 6lb 13 tot was also a new little sister for Isabelle,11.

Nikkis said: “I was 5 days late and I knew she would come on my birthday - so we now share the same birthday! I went in on the Thursday to be induced, had  my waters broken Friday lunchtime when Tom (daddy) was allowed to come in and she arrived at 4.56pm!”

Kimberlie Walker’s third child Poppy Morris Walker was born on 09/11/2020 in Poole, weighing 7lb15oz, a sister for Arabella (Bella) and Kendle Walker. Poppy’s middle name is Morris, named after Kimberlie’s grandad who sadly passed away on 10/11 at Poole hospital.

Gary and Alisha Critchell welcomed Rocco-Luis 4 days early on 17 March at 8.09pm at Poole maternity hospital, weighing 8lbs 10oz, a brother for 8 year old Luca

“We are so in love with our new addition to the family. Luca is the best big brother and we feel so lucky to have two beautiful boys!” said Alisha.

Naomi Honeywill welcomed Nola Grace Ho on 29/12/2020 at Poole, weighing 7lb 2oz, a sister for Elijah Arthur Ho.

Amy Macwhirter gave birth at home to Nelly Macwhirter Lockie-Bartholomew on December 24, weighing 8lb 2oz- “ Our wonderful little lockdown baby!”

It was a third boy for Tammy knight who gave birth to Oscar Christopher knight on 10/02/2020 at Poole maternity, weighing 9lbs 6, a brother for Marcus 9 and Owen 1.

Stephanie Down welcomed second son Xavier Frederick Down on 05.02.21 at Poole maternity, weighing 7lbs 10oz, a little brother for Sebastian Down.

Cody Jack Hayes was born to Samantha Dancer on 21.2.21 at Salisbury Hospital, weighing 6lb 15.5oz, a brother for Jacob and Myla (Dancer).

Samantha said: “Our lockdown baby was due to exit mid March but had other ideas and I went into labour a month early. I am a midwife and rare birth ever goes to plan for us! He has brightened our world and we are so happy to have him here!”

She added he has “two very proud siblings. They are incredibly helpful and adore him. He is our bundle of joy and something beautiful made in 2020!”

Kayleigh Hancock welcomed third daughter Ruby Mae Carnie on 17/08/2020 at Poole maternity, weighing 7lb 9oz, a sister for Lillie and Ella.

Eleni Barnes welcomed Nelly Valentina on 25/01/21 at Poole, weighing 5lb 13oz- a little sister for William and Henry.

She said: “She’s such a beautiful little baby and that final puzzle piece to our family. We’re all so blessed and love her dearly!”

Qavi Baig welcomed Abraham Baig, weighing 13lb, at Poole on 28/11/2020, a brother for Shanzay Baig and Aryan Baig.

Qavi said:”We were blessed with Abraham Baig in November 2020, making our family complete. One of the lockdown babies both Shanzay and Aryan can’t stop giving hugs and kisses to this little man and are already very proud of him.”

Teddy George Rooker was welcomed by mum Sarah Krajicek on 12/12/20 at Poole maternity, weighing 7lb 10lb, a brother for Lola Grace.
