A POLICE investigation was launched after a report of a concern for the welfare of a confused elderly man.
The man had attended Westbourne Dental Practice in Bournemouth where worried staff called police.
All the roadworks taking place across Bournemouth and Dorset this week
He left before officers arrived just before 9am on Saturday.
Following inquiries and a public appeal the man was identified and is safe and well.
