A MAN has come forward following an incident where a woman was reportedly bitten by a dog in Bournemouth.
At around 10am on Wednesday March 31 2021 the victim – a woman aged in her 50s – was walking her dog on a lead at Iford playing fields when she was approached by a Staffordshire Bull Terrier and a Husky.
The Staffordshire Bull Terrier allegedly ran toward the victim’s dog and as the owner went to retrieve it, the Husky ran toward the victim’s dog and tried to attack it.
The victim sustained a puncture wound during the incident that required medical treatment.
Following enquiries and an appeal for witnesses, the owner of the Husky has come forward and is assisting officers with their enquiries. No arrests have been made.
