These darling newborns all came into the world during the pandemic here in Dorset.

They include one who had to be delivered at home in Boscombe by paramedics whilst the others were all born at Poole at either St Mary's or the Haven hospitals.

All are gloriously unaware of any lockdowns but will no doubt enjoy being introduced to more of their extended families as covid restrictions start to ease.

Tallulah Belle Greenaway was born on Christmas Day, first baby for Martha Elizabeth Snaith and William Greenaway, at Poole Hospital, weighing 6lb 2oz.

Sian Moss welcomed Evie-Rose Cubitt on 24/01/21 at Poole Hospital, weighing 7lb 4oz, a sister for Naomi Cubitt.

Jack Jones welcomed first baby Roman Henry Jones on 02/01/2021 at Poole, weighing 8lbs 2oz and says “It was the perfect way to start the new year!”

Georgie McCrystal Andrews is the first baby of Catherine and Ben Andrews. Born at 8.56am on 12.01.202. at Poole Maternity Hospital, weighing 6lb 3. Her family, especially her eight cousins were all looking forward to meeting her after lockdown.

Elizabeth Collins gave birth at home in Boscombe to Eden Sakura Collins Standring on 31/01/21, weighing 8lbs 4oz- a sister for Brett, Courtney, Lucie and Owen.

She said: “Baby Eden arrived in dramatic fashion only an hour after the call to the labour ward, having to be delivered by paramedics at home.”

First child Callie Jane Fraser arrived at Poole Haven on Valentine’s Day 14/02/2021, weighing 8lbs. Her dad Eliot Fraser said: We had a beautiful little girl, born at 22:48 after 6hrs 30 mins in Labour. Mummy Emma was magic, giving birth naturally on only gas and air. I am the proudest dad. She is just an Angel.”

Jodie Plaister welcomed Ella Marie Blackman on 18/12/2020 at Poole Maternity, weighing 7lb 15oz, a sister for Connie Rose, Sadie Mae, Freya and Betsy.

Jodie said: “She was due Christmas Day but decided to make an early arrival on December 18 - the best Christmas present ever!”

Abbie Park gave birth to Arthur Barnes on October 6 at St Marys, Poole, weighing 7lb 3oz, promoting firstborn Harry to big brother. She said: “We were all so overwhelmed with joy!”
