POLICE descended on a Bournemouth road after a wanted man was spotted this morning.
Around six police cars, including an armed response vehicle, attended St Swithun's Road at 11.22am.
Police dog handlers were also called to the scene, opposite university accommodation in the town.

A Dorset Police spokesman said: "We received a report at 11.22am that a man wanted in connection with a reported affray had been seen in the area of St Swithun’s Road in Bournemouth. The reported affray occurred in the same area on the evening of Sunday March 28.
"Officers attended and carried out searches of the area. A 41-year-old local man was located and arrested on suspicion of affray. He is assisting officers with their enquiries."
