NO coronavirus deaths have been recorded in Dorset hospitals, latest figures reveal.

Data released by NHS England showed that no one died with coronavirus across the three hospitals in the county on Saturday March 27.

Across England, a further 23 people who tested positive for Covid-19 have died, bringing the total number of confirmed reported deaths in hospitals in England to 86,176.

Patients were aged between 15 and 91 years old. All except one patient had known underlying health conditions.

The South West region recorded one death, whilst the Midlands recorded eight deaths.

Yesterday 58 people who tested positive for the coronavirus died with the virus across the UK.

This comes after the NHS hit another milestone on Saturday Match 27 in vaccinating more than 25 million people against Covid-19, with over 2.5 million people receiving their second jab.
