POOLE Harbour Festival is returning this summer bigger and better than ever, with 50 live acts on three stages.

The three-day family friendly festival at Baiter Park will take place from July 30 to August 1 and will be headlined by 90s Britpop legends Dodgy and Toploader, as well as superclub DJs Brandon Block and Matt Darey.

Live music won't be the only offering at the festival.

Free activities and shows for children include dinosaur shows, the Passion For Laughter street shows, Mad For Animals and Jamie Jambo.

Festival director, Ben Dyas said: "We really missed being able to welcome our regulars as well as newcomers last year when we had to stand down in the face of Covid, but we’re back with a bigger site that means more space and better access to the main stage creating a safer environment for all our visitors.

"It has been a tough year for the industry, but the many messages we’ve received made it clear that people wanted Poole Harbour Festival to return – we’re so grateful for that support."

Festivals goers can also enjoy a line up of quality tributes and local bands, including the Mother Ukers, festival favourites Saints of Sin, Pronghorn, singer songwriter Carley Varley and The Bomo Swing.

Clubbers young and old will have their arms in the air thanks to a DJ line up that features Matt Darey, Paul Moss & Jon Langford, and the rest of The Manor Reunion crew.

Ben added: "We’ll have more bars, managed queuing systems, more loos and with weekend tickets at just £16 for adults £27 for a family advance tickets are selling well – not only are we the safest festival in Poole we’re also the best value."

Poole Harbour Festival opens at 5pm on Friday, July 30, noon on Saturday, July 31 and 11am on Sunday, August 1, closing at 11pm on Friday and Saturday and 7pm on Sunday.
