IT MUST be four or five years ago when I became aware of the many potholes on local roads and they first started to cause concern among highway users.
Far from this being a diminishing issue, there appears to be a steady deterioration in the quality of the road surface on many roads and streets across the BCP conurbation, which constitutes a particular hazard to users of two wheeled forms of transport.
There seems to be no expense spared in providing sleeping policemen, which serve little or no purpose as most vehicles are able to straddle the humps, enabling them to continue their journey with no reduction in speed e.g. Shillingstone Drive.
Can I suggest BCP direct more resource and focus on the upkeep of our roads please.
