TWO dangerous cars with heavily tinted windows were stopped by police and their drivers issued with fixed penalties.
The law states the windscreen must allow at least 75 per cent of light in with a 70 per cent limit for side windows.
But vehicles stopped yesterday by officers from the Dorset Police No Excuse team only allowed 22.4 per cent and 22.8 per cent.
A spokesman for the team said: "It's been said before, but you cannot tint your windscreen or front windows.

"The windscreen must allow 75 per cent (would normally come out of the factory at this level) and your side windows must allow 70 per cent.
"The two cars clearly did not pass and the drivers were issued with fixed penalties and words of advice, though we could have seized the cars for being in a dangerous condition."
