A DRIVER was taken to hospital after her Vauxhall Corsa overturned in a supermarket car park.

Police and fire crews were called to Sainsbury's in Ferndown at 10.05am on Saturday.

They discovered the gold Corsa on its side in the busy car park.

A Dorset Police spokesman said: "Officers attended with the fire and ambulance services. The female driver of the vehicle attended hospital as a precaution.

"The vehicle was recovered and the car park was cleared by around 12.30pm."
