A PUBLIC appeal has been launched to help find a man police are "very concerned" for after he went missing in East Dorset.

Edward Johnson, 30, was last seen at an address on Ringwood Road in Three Legged Cross at 5.35pm on Thursday, March 18.

He is described as white, five feet 10 inches tall, of average build, clean shaven and with short light brown hair.

He was last seen wearing jeans, a dark-coloured gilet and brown work-style boots. He was said to be driving a red Citroen C3 Picasso with the registration WJ14 AMO.

Chief Inspector Andy Bell, of Dorset Police, said: “We are very concerned for Edward and it is really important that we find him to make sure he is OK.

“I would ask anyone who has seen Edward, or a man or vehicle matching the description given, to please contact Dorset Police immediately.

“Finally, I would like to appeal directly to Edward if you see this – please call us or your family and let us know where you are as we just want to make sure you are safe.”
