A BOURNEMOUTH man who was caught speeding at more than 90 miles per at hour on a Bournemouth dual carriageway has appeared in court.
Colin Band, 63, was driving a Volkswagen panel van on the A338 Wessex Way on April 22, 2020, at 93mph.
Band, whose address was given as Wolverton Road, Bournemouth, admitted an offence of speeding when he appeared at Poole Magistrates’ Court on March 11.
District judge Stephen Nicholls disqualified the defendant from holding or obtaining a driving licence for seven days.
Band was also fined £175 and ordered to pay £34 surcharge and £350 costs.
