SPEEDING drivers were issued with fines during police checks in Poole.
Officers checked vehicles in Sherborne Crescent in Canford Heath and Leicester Road in Branksome following complaints from the public.
Toddler rescued by fire crew after getting locked in car
All those travelling at 10mph or more over the limit were given tickets during the checks, carried out yesterday.
A spokesman for the Poole Neighbourhood Policing Team said: "The difference in speed could be the difference between life or death in an accident. Please drive with care."
