- - A Court of Appeal hearing is taking place in the case of Timothy Brehmer.
- - Brehmer, 41 and of Hordle, New Forest, was jailed for 10 years and six months for the manslaughter of his long-term lover Claire Parry.
- - The former Dorset Police officer was found not guilty of her murder.
- - Mrs Parry died in May last year after being strangled by Brehmer in the car park of the Horns Inn pub in West Parley.
- - Brehmer is appealing to have his sentence reduced. The Attorney General's Office has referred the case with a view that the sentence was unduly lenient and should be extended.
