PROPOSALS have been put forward to install a range of new play equipment at a New Forest camping site.
The Caravan and Motorhome Club wants to create a new play area at its Centenary site in Forest Road, Bransgore.
An application, which details that five different types of play equipment would be installed in addition to the existing play area, has been submitted to New Forest National Park Authority (NPA).
A design and access statement says: “This will be providing suitable and age-appropriate facilities for the older children which will preserve the existing young kid’s equipment for the intended age group.”
The site has 275 pitches and welcomes families for lengthy holiday stays within the New Forest.
The application is currently being considered by the NPA and the proposals have been supported by Bransgore Parish Council.
