I AM FEARFUL that these e-scooters are being used on the promenades, pavements and local parks recklessly and that someone will be seriously injured.
I am hard of hearing and cannot hear them approaching me from behind.
The young people riding these expect you to get out of their way.
Have they not heard of social distancing.
Today there was a young chap doing wheelies on the approach to Bournemouth pier on a private scooter.
He could not have given a jot about others using this area.
If he had lost control I dread to think what would have happened.
Also whilst on the subject the sight of two youngsters riding on one Beryl bike is quite common.
The position of the second person being sat on the handle bars.
It's time that BCP clamped down on misuse of these bikes and gave consideration to the residents of the BCP area.
Also how many have been breathalysed.
