HOAX callers have been targeting Bournemouth residents asking them to transfer money and for personal details.
The callers claim to be from Her Majesty's Revenue and Customs or from the police.
Now police have warned members of the public to be on their guard.

A spokesman for Bournemouth Police said: "Neither agency would ask for any personal details over the phone or require you to transfer money.
"Please be aware not to give any bank details or personal details over the phone or by email. Please report any of these incidents to 101 so we can tackle this issue. If you have any concerns please speak to us."
