Two Dorset sites have been named as having some of the best views in the UK.

Famous for our stunning coastline and rolling countryside, it's not a surprise that Dorset locations top yet another chart.

The study analysed TripAdvisor to find out the top 13 parks and green spaces in the UK with the most mentions of their amazing, scenic views.

Haddonstone collected data from the site analysing the number of mentions of 'best view', 'best views', 'amazing view' and 'amazing views,' searching for the UK's most scenic views that can be enjoyed from the comfort of a park bench.

Two Dorset spots made the list - Lulworth Cove is fifth, while Corfe Castle is tenth.

Edinburgh residents are the luckiest however, with Arthur's Seat getting almost 3,000 more mentions of its views than any other location in the UK, and Calton Hill coming in second.

In fifth position Lulworth Cove had 490 mentions of its views.

It was originally formed when the sea broke through a thin layer of the Portland Stone cliff, creating an almost perfect semi-circular bay.

There are several park benches in and around the cove, offering awe-inspiring views.

In tenth position, Corfe Castle received 239 mentions about its views.

Sitting on one of the many park benches located around the ruins, you could be mistaken for feeling like you’ve stepped into a period drama.

Nicola Clements, Marketing Manager at Haddonstone, commented: "Parks and green spaces have been a saviour during lockdown. The outdoors is proven to help uplift our mental health and wellbeing, and for many of us, our daily walk or run has been the highlight of our day.

"That's why we did this research, to find the UK's best-loved scenery and stunning views which can be enjoyed from a bench to enjoy the British countryside."
